What Do Dentures Cost?

Your treatment costs will depend on your unique needs. At Smart Dental, we strive to make our dentures as affordable as possible. Be sure to schedule a consultation with our professional dental team for a complete breakdown of all costs and options. We are committed to total pricing transparency to help you get the care you deserve.

What Are Traditional Dentures?

Dentures are removable prosthetic devices we use to replace missing teeth. Full dentures are recommended to replace teeth in cases of total tooth loss. Partial dentures are recommended to replace one or more missing teeth. They use a metal framework that attaches to your surrounding teeth to fill the open spaces left by missing teeth. At Smart Dental, we make dentures from a high-quality acrylic base and natural-looking artificial teeth to totally restore the look and function of your teeth.

How Long Do Dentures Last?

With proper care, your dentures will last many years before needing to be repaired or replaced. Care for your dentures by taking them out to clean and during sleep. Clean your dentures by soaking them in a denture cleaning solution when not in use. Brush them daily to clear away food debris and plaque. Be sure to schedule regular checkups with Smart Dental to assess the condition of your dentures.

What is Denture Stabilization?

If you already have dentures, our dentists may recommend denture stabilization. Our dental professionals can retrofit your existing dentures with special snap-on attachments and anchor them to your jaw using dental implants. Denture stabilization provides increased chewing strength and more confidence when eating or speaking. You can still easily remove your dentures to clean or brush your gums and tongue.

What Are Fixed Dentures?

If you want a permanent tooth loss solution, our dentists may recommend choosing fixed dentures. Also called implant-supported dentures, fixed dentures use a series of dental implants to anchor the denture to your jaw. It typically requires the placement of four to six implants to provide a stable base for your dentures. Once placed, your fixed dentures will look, feel and function just like natural teeth!

What Are Immediate Dentures?

Immediate dentures are temporary prosthetic teeth placed the same day the original teeth are removed. Immediate placement dentures can be very challenging for the patient as well as the surgeon. We have developed a very precise system along with Timothy Blair CDT to provide a predictable and pleasing outcome. Having completed over 5,000 units, we are very knowledgeable and confident and expect patient success.

The day following surgery, we will see the patient for the first follow-up appointment. We will see patients as much as needed; however, at week one, we will also evaluate, adjust and remove any remaining sutures and place the first soft treatment liner. At approximately week eight, we will place the second soft treatment liner and allow for complete ridge correction and healing.

We recommend 8-10 months of bone healing and ridge stabilization before continuing with the permanent custom denture. We always recommend that patients have a spare denture. It is very common for a patient that only has one denture to have an emergency and have to go without teeth while a new denture is being made. At that time, the patient will have the choice of relining the custom denture and using it as a permanent denture (not recommended) or making a new custom denture and converting the surgical denture into a spare.

Our Standard Fees:

  • Initial consult: Free
  • X-rays (if not provided): $99
  • Immediate (surgical) denture: $797
  • Adjustments: $49 (first two are free)
  • Soft treatment liner: $149/each
  • Reline and convert surgical denture to permanent denture: $395
  • Final "Elite" custom denture: $1,447
